Bharat Scouts & Guides Sealdah is local unit of National Scouting organization. This organization is focussed on developing different skills and community services throughout the year. As a part of that endeavour, Bharat Scout & Guide Naihati Group remains engaged in community outreach programmes promoting values and principles amongst youth and children. Besides, it often participates in relief works during flood, accident, earthquake etc. and act as a part of disaster management team at the time of natural calamities to help distressed and affected people. Apart, it participates in cultural exchange programme fostering community understanding and friendship. It also organizes camps, rallies etc to promote scouting values, teamwork and leadership.
Sealdah Division’s Bharat Scouts and Guides Naihati Group has successfully organized its 35th Group Rally and Group Day on (27.02.2025) at Naihati through a colourful vibrant event filled with enthusiasm and skill display by children of Bharat Scouts and Guides. The event was graced by Smt Gunjan Nigam, President/ERWWO as chief guest. Sri Deepak Nigam, DRM/Sealdah was also present at the event as guest of honor with other Railway dignitaries.
The 35th group day celebration of Bharat Scouts & Guide Naihati witnessed a massive participation of children who showcased their talents and skills through various activities. The event highlighted the core values of the Bharat Scouts and Guides organization, which focuses on the holistic development of children – mentally, physically and morally.
While delivering his speech DRM/Sealdah has stated that, Bharat Scouts and Guides is a globally recognized organization dedicated to the character development of young people. This organization plays a crucial role in propagating responsibilities and selfless services amongst the budding youth of the nation.
