In India, traditionally women are regarded and respected as ‘Shakti’. It’s told that, without ‘Shakti’ you are nothing. Women are only bestowed with the power of creation/regeneration and hence called *Maa*. International Women’s Day celebrates equal rights of women to make our society prosperous, erudite and powerful.

Spring and Women have much in common as both of them are about Flowering, Revival, Inspiration and Beauty. Sealdah Division wishes all the Ladies – happiness and fulfilment on the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day.
