Kolkata, April 14, 2025: On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Sri Deepak Nigam, DRM/Sealdah, today paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to his portrait at Rabindra sabha kakshya.
The solemn occasion was graced by the presence of all officers and staff of Sealdah Division, who joined in paying their respects to the architect of the Indian Constitution and a crusader of social justice & empowerment.
On this occasion, Sri Nigam also highlighted the invaluable contributions of Dr. Ambedkar to the nation and reiterated his teachings on equality, fraternity and social empowerment. The gathering was reminded of Dr. Ambedkar’s relentless efforts towards creating a modern India and an equitable society for all. The event served as a moment of reflection on Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and inspired all present to uphold his thoughts in their daily lives and work.
